we like to concentrate on experiential reviews, not super critical, what was it like to go, what was the venue like, what did you see while you were there, how did the people around you react, etc...

Subject: Welcome back to Broomfield
Very fun time. I had to skip the opening night gala of the Boulder International Film Festival, but had zero regrets. Hard to believe Phil's energy and enthusiasm at age 70+.

I left thinking, "They really need to get John Scofield more involved in the game plan." He seemed to hang back waiting for his space. When he did jump in, he was a monster.

Thanks for shooting the recording up here.

Subject: SCO'!!!!!
What a night! Standing on the Moon and Just a Little Light were stellar. Sco's solo on Fire was so hot Phil stopped playing to hug him...no shit! Help.Slip.Frank to end is always a treat but Sco' again on Slipknot was mind melting. What a bar to set on the first night of a three night run.

Subject: very good show
though I don't think I'm a fan of the Busman mics. They aeem to make things sound a bit compressed and cloudy. I'll be able to elaborate after other copies of this show pop up.

Subject: add on to a new phil show
don't know about being a disgruntled zoner sounds like you might be one

nevertheless the show was good otherwise why do you think i gave it a five spot for

didn't think i needed to go song by song and dissect them

the high point to me was the other one standing on the moom wharf rat doin' that rag dire wolf and scarlet bogonia

other songs were well done as well even the cover of magic bus although i like the who's version better it was still well done the same with rollin' and tumblin' although cream and muddy waters beats phil's version that doesn't mean the one he did doesn't stand on its own

sometimes we need to stand aside and look through the window without hearing a sound and still be able to see

How in any way, shape, or form, is that a review of the show???? You didn't even reference the show or recording...You sound like a disgruntled zoner. We all already know Phils voice is what it is. In regard to the show ....some great stuff from the band and a nice pull from the taper.. Nice to hear Warren sing Just a Little Light again. P-bomb in The Wheel is the shit! Well worth the listen!
